About Boating Safely

The course describes types of boats, including PWCs, trailering, rules of the road and navigation, operating a boat, legal requirements and boating emergencies.

The $40 fee includes the text and a proctored examination that is required to receive a certificate of completion. Many insurance companies offer discounts to boaters completing the course. It also satisfies court impositions.
